I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and quickly went into working at a long term care facility, sidelining my internship (the next step to become a dietitian) at that time. 4 years later I quit and enrolled at Montgomery County Community College and received my Associate’s in Health and Fitness in 2014. Trained with the tools to complete the ACSM guidelines, I then began my career as a personal trainer at the YMCA in Pittsburgh. A year later I came back to the Philly suburbs and began working at various box gyms, boutique studios and privately owned gyms while providing nutrition coaching on my own and attempting to get a meal prep business, CheffinNPreppin, LLC off the ground.Ā

Although that business venture did not come to fruition, I officially launched InciteNutritionandFitness, LLC in 2020. From online programming, to becoming a traveling trainer, to nutrition coaching online and corporate wellness events, I was wearing many hats with the continuous nagging thoughts of ā€˜Danielle, you need to become a dietitian, especially in the nutrition space now’.Ā

So I did. In 2022 I applied to Immaculata University and graduated May 2025. My internship experience during that timeĀ  included school districts (understanding the school lunch programs and food service director position), clinical hospital setting (low income community setting), sports dietetics inside a private practice (primary focus on adolescents and young athletes), and hospital food service. Now, I can officially call myself a Registered Dietitian.

When working with clients, I meet them where they are. Depending on their journey, we work together to balance the hard to make life manageable regarding food and exercise. Whether fighting internal battles where they struggle with their relationship with food, looking to learn HOW to eat for their sport (fueling, recovery, gaining muscle, losing body fat), overcoming childhood food and exercise faux pas’s or managing current wellness trends, to simply learning how to balance their home, family, and personal life to live healthy for awhile (sustainability for the long haul, baby!). We work together, to reach ā€˜checkpoints’. These checkpoints are your goals, but continuous. Once a checkpoint is reached, you don’t stop because you ā€˜did the thing’. You keep going. To be better, stronger, and improve your longevity well into the future.Ā
